Alegerile la Corjova, localitatea de baştină a liderului Partidului Comuniştilor, Vladimir Voronin, au fost câştigate de către candidatul PCRM, Sergiu Oprea. Acesta l-a devansat pe candidatul PLDM, Valeriu Mitul, care a fost primar al localităţii în ultimii 4 ani.
Preşedintele Asociaţiei Promo-LEX, Ion Manole, a declarat pentru Info-Prim Neo că locuitorii din Corjova s-au prezentat la vot în număr mare, chiar dacă secţia de votare a fost deschisă în altă localitate, iar acest lucru demonstrează că cetăţenii într-adevăr doresc să-şi aleagă administraţia. Pe de altă parte, candidaţii nu prea au avut posibilitatea să-şi desfăşoare campania electorală. „Nu au avut posibilitatea să informeze alegătorii despre programele, activităţile şi rezultate lor. Astfel că este un mare semn de întrebare cât de conştient a fost acest vot la Corjova, pentru că nu au fost organizate dezbateri, nu au fost organizate întruniri”, a menţionat preşedintele Promo-LEX.
Jurisdicţia asupra comunei Corjova, raionul Dubăsari, este disputată între autorităţile centrale de la Chişinău şi autorităţile separatiste de la Tiraspol. Pentru a evita tensiunile şi blocarea procesului electoral, secţia de votare a fost deschisă la Cocieri. La urne s-au prezentat 633 de persoane din 1300 înscrise pe listă. Pentru candidatul PCRM au votat 360 de persoane, adică 56,87% din alegători, iar pentru candidatul PLDM – 273 de persoane sau 43,13%.

Control over Corjova village of Dubasari district is disputed by the Moldovan constitutional authorities and the Transnistrian separatist administration. In order to avoid tensions and blocking the voting process, the polling place was established in Cocieri. A number of 633 persons of the 1,300 written on the rolls cast their votes there. 56.87% of them or 360 persons voted for the PCRM’s candidate, while 43.13% or 273 persons for the PLDM’s candidate.

Председатель ассоциации „Promo-LEX” Ион Маноле сообщил Info-Prim Neo, что жители села Коржова широко участвовали в выборах, несмотря на то что участок для голосования был открыт в другом населенном пункте. Этот факт подтверждает, что граждане действительно хотят избрать местное руководство. С другой стороны, у кандидатов не было особой возможности вести избирательную кампанию. „Они не могли информировать избирателей о своих программах, своей деятельности и ее результатах. Таким образом, возникает большой вопрос, насколько сознательным было голосование избирателей из коммуны Коржова, ведь там не организовывались дебаты и встречи”, – добавил председатель „Promo-LEX”.
Юрисдикция над коммуной Коржова района Дубэсарь оспаривается центральными властями Республики Молдова и сепаратистскими властями Тирасполя. Чтобы избежать напряженности и блокирования избирательного процесса, участок для голосования для избирателей из Коржова был открыт в Кочиерь.
